Honda Crosstour to have better head
Honda Crosstour is one of the most intense and searched vehicle. The company is emphasizing the upcoming model as one of the safer and secured vehicle with greater performances. The vehicle has got all the talents in the hands (Steering), legs (wheels), heart (engine) and also the circulation of required fluids (performance) but still the vehicle is incomplete as it is not having a good head (roof)!!
This is not the view of our expert but is the result conducted by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). In the recent survey for the safety issue and other performance issue of the vehicles on the highway, many of the vehicles participated including the upcoming model of Honda Accord Crosstour wagon-like Crossover. This is the test which is quite reliable and the car buyers used to refer this test as the landmark before buying the vehicles. The Highway safety and the tools of the vehicle that can protect the insiders in case of any of the rollover are measured and scrutinized here in this safety test.
Among several other brands, Honda roof was given the mark of "marginal" by the IIHS. As we all know, this is the second-to- lowest ranking for the vehicles. This lower and poor performance of car has opened the eyes of the company and for the betterment of the vehicle and insiders; the company has decided to change the roof material and is going to reinforce the roof. The sad thing for the Honda is that the in the "Top Safety Pick", the crossover was found some other problems also regarding to the strength of the roof. This rate could definitely impact on the sales of the vehicle when launched. In the scenario when the "recall parade" is mounting on the car world, this step could be the betterment as the company got the eyes opening event before the sales started. The company is rightly planning to get the Titanium-reinforced roof in the vehicle to eliminate any chances of problems in rollover. The official announcement of roof changing is yet to occur and is quite important as well to win the faith of the Crosstour lovers.
The Honda Crosstour has already passed from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) test. In this test the pivotal features of the Crosstour like the All-wheel-drive and Front-wheel-drive are appreciated. According to the NHTSA, the Crosstour is safer in the drives for the insiders and the Accord won four stars out of five in this stability and performance test. But, the NHTSA do not consider the roof security in their test.
So, the alarming call for the Honda Company has been banged and the company has started for the improvisation of Honda Accord Crosstour wagon-like Crossover.
